Wisconsin

Erin Hills, Erin WI 9.2/10 $400  Luckily for me, I get to call this 650 acre property my workplace as I take it for granted too much. From the practice facility to the small details this course has it all. This 2017 US Open course has fescue that runs up to your knees in the mid summer and balls can be unplayable even if found. This championship course is an arduous walk in addition to the golf shots that are required to play well. Bring a local caddy with you as there are a lot of blind shots. Greens roll about a ten year round so keep those hands soft. Recently added Drumlin is a 13 hole putt putt course that is fun to do with a cocktail in hand and barefoot on the blue bent grass. I could go on and on about this course, and am thankful to be apart of this organization as we embark on the Women's Open in 2025.  The Club at Lac La Belle $150 8.4/10  This newly renovated course is quite challenging. Bunkers are ridden greenside as they require precision on approach ...

Nevada

Wolf Creek Golf Club, Mesquite NV 8.2/10 $150 The greenest piece of land in the desert I have ever seen. This course staff was very friendly with a nice practice facility. The desert elevation definetly helped my tee ball fly further which I appreciate. Make sure you keep your ball on the green stuff as any desert ball is out of play, thankfully I think I only lost one ball. Lot of really great holes from elevated tee boxes which make seeing your ball flight really fun. Might have drank a little too much during this round but it was one that I will never forget.

New Jersey

Seaview Golf Course 5.8/10 $200  This course has hosted LPGA events in years prior, but would definitely not host one anytime soon. Another Troon course that unfortunately did not live up to the hype. Course was not in good condition at all, let alone for the price. Occupied on a large property with pickleball and tennis courts this is one I could go without playing again. The best part about this course would have to be the locker rooms. A lot of renovations at the time we had played and greens were bumpy. Bugs flying around in my ear at all times of day. The skyline from the third hole was cool but this course is not worth what we paid.

Illinois

Cog Hill No. 2 Ravines 6.2/10 $100 Lemont, Illinois about 45 minutes from downtown Chicago is a huge facility. Four courses occupy the acreage, with TopTracer practice facilities to dial up the game before hand. From what I have heard this course has had a sharp trend downward in terms of quality. The course was in a bit of a rough patch when we played there. Very patchy, greens were bumpy. Would love to go back to play championship course "The Dubs".

Utah

Thanksgiving Point Golf Club 7.5/10 $80-100 This Troon course lays 45 min from SLC and is a well kept course around the area. This course was well maintained and had great views of the mountains while in route to the next tee areas. Being from Wisconsin, this state has "dry" liquor laws... so bring your own alcohol. Again, the views are astounding and the conditions were great, greens were rolling true, thank you to the locals showing us the ropes around this gem.

Philadelphia

The Golf Course at Glen Mills 7.5/10 $100 This course lays on the foundation of a school ground for troubled kids who would learn life lessons while on the golf course, love this story. Staff were very friendly and loved telling the story of the course. Course was well kept, was told they cut down a bunch of trees. Watch out for hole six, tight dog leg right and very narrow fairway. Hole 8 has a great silloute of the top of the school ground which is their logo. For the money is a great find near Philadelphia.  Wyncote Golf Club 8.4/10 $100 A phenomenal golf course near Amish country 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia. This course starts off with a par five which has a shared green with hole ten, great touch. Staff allowed us off early with our group of five which was greatly appreciated. Greens were in great shape, with heather like fescue for rough. During our time on the course you could hear the clicks of the horse carriages from the roads. If not a top three course in the stat...

Missouri

The Missouri Bluffs 6.5/10 $80  This course near St. Louis has a lot of elevation around tee boxes, not very many flat spots on the course if you miss the fairway. This par 71 had a lot of fun par threes from elevated tee boxes, favorite was hole six. Greens were in good shape for a May round.
